Darinka Milovska works as a secretary and librarian at the “Napredak-1897” Community Centre in the village of Popitsa, district Vratsa. She also deals with filming, processing and publishing photo and video materials of all events at the community centre.
She completed her secondary education at the Technical School of Agricultural Mechanization “N. J. Vaptsarov” in the town of Byala Slatina – 1981 – 1985. In the period 1986 – 1988 she studied and acquired the specialty – teacher-instructor of category “B” drivers at the Institute for Teachers of Learning and Production Practice “M.I. Kalinin” in the town of Sliven. In the period 1997 – 1998 in part-time learning she acquired additional professional training – special pedagogy “Teacher of children with intellectual disabilities”. For six years (1998 – 2004) she worked as an educator in an auxiliary school in the town of Byala Slatina.
In the period 2015 – 2019 she graduated from the University of Library Studies and Information Technologies in Sofia with a bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Management, and is currently in a distance learning form in master’s degree at the same university, majoring in Library, information and cultural management.
Her interests are in the field of ICT in education, library and information sciences, mobile learning.
At the end of 2019 Darinka Milovska was included in the research team of a project entitled “Information portal for mobile learning and mobile access to library services and resources”, Contract № KP-06-M35/2 from 18.12.2019, funded under the Competition for financing basic research of young scientists and postdoctoral fellows – 2019 of the National Science Fund. The project manager is Ch. Assist. Elisaveta Tsvetkova, PhD.
