PhD student Alexander Garkinin is a sales specialist at Evolink AD, which is one of the leading telecommunications providers in Bulgaria. The company specializes in providing high-tech services such as: VPN services, cloud services, maintenance and administration of data storage centers, system integration, network and information security.
Alexander Garkinin is part of the team that created the GDPR Test platform. He has over 17 years of experience in the IT industry, of which 8 years in management positions. Co-founder of the first electronic store for mobile devices in Bulgaria WhatMobile.
He graduated from UARD, Plovdiv, Master’s degree in Business Administration with specialization “National Security”, European Diploma Supplement – Level 7.
His research interests are in the field of the new 3D technologies; cloud technologies; network and information security.
He is the co-author of 3 scientific papers – “GDPR – the answers to artificial intelligence: Personal data, European legal regulations and artificial intelligence” (2018), “Data manipulation in social networks” (2018) and “The new 3D technologies and the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage” (2020), presented at scientific forums in the country and published in specialized editions.
He is a member of the National Cyber Security Zone.
